As an ATHLETE or COACH where can I park?As an athlete you're expected to drive slowly down Washington St, and enter the parking lot through the first gate. There is a paved parking lot when you first enter. If you must park on the unpaved section of the parking, respect spacing and DRIVE SLOW! After practice, please drive slowly towards the second gate, and exit the campus. Exiting campus from the ENTER gate is prohibited and can result in consequence.

As a PARENT where can I park?As a Parent we understand the commitment you've made to support your athlete. We understand that practice can run long or be cut short. We also understand that you have other engagements outside of your athlete's time at HRC. With that being said, parents are to wait outside the HRC Campus in the Cell Phone Waiting Lot by the apartments. Once your athlete texts or calls you to let you know they are finished practice and waiting to be picked up, please drive slowly down Washington St, and enter the parking lot through the first gate. There is a paved parking lot when you first enter. After picking up your athlete please drive slowly towards the second gate, and exit the campus. Exiting campus from the ENTER gate is prohibited and can result in consequence.

As a PARENT, am I able to wait on Washington St?No. Do not park, wait or loiter in your vehicle on the single-lane, unpaved Washington St, to and from the Hines Rowing Center. In addition, it is illegal per the local Fire Marshall. There are municipal signs placed outside the HRC gates prohibiting parking; and ticketing is enforced.

What is Hines Rowing Center?Hines Rowing Center serves as a rowing community base, and works to support 14 programs. The HRC campus provides a place for athletes to train on and off water, receive coaching, and support for the Upper Schuylkill River Rowing community. At HRC you're able to find training at all levels, from 'Learn to Row', High Performance, or Masters teams.

Does HRC have a rowing team?No. Hines Rowing Center is a campus for athletes who row to train in Conshohocken, PA. HRC supports 14 programs, with team ability ranging from Novice to Master's level. Whatever step you're talking in your rowing journey, HRC can find a place to support your training goals.

Do I need a swim test before I row?Most programs require acknowledgement of swim ability. All athletes should know their swimming ability and be able to explain to their program where they stand. Hines Rowing Center strongly suggests turning in a swim waiver to your program

What is HRC doing about COVID?During the peak progress of COVID Hines Rowing Center worked tirelessly to find the safest ways to allow the programs to continue training. Safety standards of social distancing, and wearing a mask on campus were mandated. In addition to the use of iCrew, HRC is able to track all teams and equipment for efficient contact tracing.
